HEALING TO HOPE

WHAT WE DO

The Wraparound Wellness Center is a part of East St. Louis School District 189 in East St. Louis, IL. The Center was created to address youth violence and trauma in our community with culturally-responsive, family-focused, strength-based, trauma-informed supports. Our goal is to heal our community starting with our youth where data shows they are more at risk after-school in the evenings and on the weekends.

we help the youth in our community MOVE FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING

OUR PROGRAMS

Peace Warriors – students will become active in Peace Warriors; the crisis response
team will assist 50 students/families in crisis and we also plan to serve those students/families through our counseling services.

The SOS Team (Support on Scene) is our trauma response team that will respond to violent incidents or death in the community involving students 21 years old or younger between the hours of 4pm and 4am seven days a week.
